Exploring Computer Science Flyers for Recruiting Students
Like Computer Tech, Exploring Computer Science fits well with all USOE CTE pathways. They both fulfill the Digital Literacy high school graduation requirement. For more information, see the CTE Pathways Program.

Recruiting Students
Talk to guidance counselors to get all students (not just gifted students) enrolled in ECS sections. Here is a short description of the ECS course that you might email guidance counselors:
"Exploring Computer Science fulfills the Digital Literacy (Computer Tech) high school graduation requirement. It is designed to introduce students to computer science through an exploration of hands on activities and assignments around major computing topics. The goal of the class is to develop in students the computational thinking practices of algorithm development, problem solving and programming so they can see how relevant computing is to their lives.
Exploring Computer Science is appropriate for ANY student. At one Utah high school, gifted students, regular students and resource students all enjoyed the same Exploring Computer Science section. The project-based assignments allow all students to participate, while remaining challenging to gifted students."
