Endorsement Requirements

Complete the Code.org 20-hour introduction to computer science.
Attend the week-long Exploring Computer Science summer workshop. Nominate yourself or another teacher to participate in the Exploring Computer Science program.
Participate in the ongoing CS professional development activities.
Meet regularly with several new Exploring Computer Science teachers and an experienced Exploring Computer Science teacher during your first year teaching Exploring Computer Science.
Attend two Utah CTE IT conferences (either summer or winter):
Complete the Certiport IC3 tests.

Submit your application to Carl Lyman, Computer Science Specialist, 250 East 500 South, PO Box 144200, Salt Lake City, Utah 84114-4200 once you have completed your Code.org, IC3 test, and summer workshop.
